Cookie box with eyelets and flowers

Cookie boxes are my favorite 3D cookies. They are easy to make in any shape and size and they can hide a little surprise inside.

For this set I used graduating hexagon cutters (3 different sizes). But you can use any shape with this method. I like when the bottom and the lid are a little bigger, than the rings that build up the side of the box.

I created this set for my 2015 Texas class and I made three different designs with the same technique for the lid.

This design has a drop flower arrangement in the middle and eyelets in each corners.

This design has bigger eyelets creating a flower shape and the drop flowers are added between the eyelets and in the middle.

The last design reminds me of my grandmother's little lace decorations with the round eyelets. The drop flowers in the middle add a nice accent.
