I clearly remember the opening event in my son's new school. We could visit the rooms and meet the teachers. And there was a table in the hallway with a nice lady who stopped us (and all other kids) to tell us about the wonderful opportunity to take string lessons at school. And my son told me "let's go mom, I don't want to do this". You can imagine my surprise, when - in a few days - my son came home and told me "mom, I want to do string and I've chosen violin."
And he did. Probably the first thing in his life that he did not give up on in a few weeks. So I was so happy I wanted to create something special for this wonderful teacher.
The violin seemed to be the most tricky piece of the set, but I really like how they turned out and it was not too hard either:
